Running Accomplishments:

I have been running for the last 10+ years. I have run 6 marathons, 3 ultra marathon, 1 relay ultra marathon and numerous local shorter races. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

I would like to be able to keep logging in miles consistently and plan on running two or three marathons a year. I would also love to run the Redwoods (Avenue of the Giants Marathon.)

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run the Boston Marathon and while I am in Boston take in a Red sox game.Maybe run some more ultra's.Run a 2:50 marathon. Ryan and I are kicking around the idea of running a marathon in every state in the next few years. You got to have some goals.

Personal:

I have lived in Eastern Idaho for most of my life. I currently live in Iona with my wife and two daughters who are 3 and 1.

Ran a new route today so I took my Garmin to keep track of the distance. Felt good but it was windy and cooler than it has been. 39 degrees and 15 mph wind. Average pace 6:22. Felt pretty good with the effort. Miles into the wind were 10 to 15 seconds slower. Always fun to run a different route.

Not a bad day to run with the sun out and a lot less wind then yesterday. Ran my hill route to work on leg turnover while climbing in elevation.

Started out running a different route to mix things up but after battling the head wind for a few miles I turned back and finished with a loop I have ran before. So much easier and more enjoyable without head wind. Felt pretty good. A little tired from working last night.

Quick miles before I had to head back out to work. Quick turn around since I had to go into work early tonight. Effort felt great.
