I have been running for the last 10+ years. I have run 6 marathons, 3 ultra marathon, 1 relay ultra marathon and numerous local shorter races.
Short-Term Running Goals:
I would like to be able to keep logging in miles consistently and plan on running two or three marathons a year. I would also love to run the Redwoods (Avenue of the Giants Marathon.)
Long-Term Running Goals:
Run the Boston Marathon and while I am in Boston take in a Red sox game.Maybe run some more ultra's.Run a 2:50 marathon. Ryan and I are kicking around the idea of running a marathon in every state in the next few years. You got to have some goals.
Personal:
I have lived in Eastern Idaho for most of my life. I currently live in Iona with my wife and two daughters who are 3 and 1.
Nice easy miles to see how the ankle was holding up. A little sore but I think I am back to running. The chest cold I have been fighting for the past month is about gone. Things are looking up.
Afternoon run in the wind. Wind was blowing around 20 miles an hour. Ankle is about the same so I will keep taking it easy for a couple of weeks while I rehab it.
Ran a few miles with the Bill's Bike and Run group this morning. Perfect morning to run and it was great to run with some new people. Ran a little more just to enjoy the morning. So ready for spring.
