Running Accomplishments:

I have been running for the last 10+ years. I have run 6 marathons, 3 ultra marathon, 1 relay ultra marathon and numerous local shorter races. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

I would like to be able to keep logging in miles consistently and plan on running two or three marathons a year. I would also love to run the Redwoods (Avenue of the Giants Marathon.)

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run the Boston Marathon and while I am in Boston take in a Red sox game.Maybe run some more ultra's.Run a 2:50 marathon. Ryan and I are kicking around the idea of running a marathon in every state in the next few years. You got to have some goals.

Personal:

I have lived in Eastern Idaho for most of my life. I currently live in Iona with my wife and two daughters who are 3 and 1.

Got home this morning from work and watched the Boston Marathon. What a great race this year. After a couple hours of sleep I got up for a quick run. The weather was perfect for a run. Quite a few people out burning leaves and canal banks so it was smokey at times other than that it felt like spring is finally here.

A quick eight miles before work. The wind was ridiculous when I went out. Looks like this weather is here for the next few days.

Another windy day. Ran in tights and a running jacket today. Crazy to think that yesterday I ran in a t shirt and shorts. Felt really good and the ankle seems to be holding up. So hopefully the slow build up is working. Tomorrow Melanie and I are going to get in her ten mile training run.

Ran down Sunnyside Road this morning with Melanie. She needed to run a ten miler for her training program. We decided to run early to avoid the wind and so myparents could watch the girls. Perfect weather to run. The wind didn't pick up until we made it home. It was nice to see some other runners out.

Got up early to run with Alexander. He was hoping to run ten miles before work so we set off with that as our goal. The wind was very minimal with a light rain at times. Ended up being a great run. It is always good to get out and run with a friend. The miles pass easy with conversation.
