Running Accomplishments:

I have been running for the last 10+ years. I have run 6 marathons, 3 ultra marathon, 1 relay ultra marathon and numerous local shorter races. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

I would like to be able to keep logging in miles consistently and plan on running two or three marathons a year. I would also love to run the Redwoods (Avenue of the Giants Marathon.)

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run the Boston Marathon and while I am in Boston take in a Red sox game.Maybe run some more ultra's.Run a 2:50 marathon. Ryan and I are kicking around the idea of running a marathon in every state in the next few years. You got to have some goals.

Personal:

I have lived in Eastern Idaho for most of my life. I currently live in Iona with my wife and two daughters who are 3 and 1.

Easy miles after a night shift. Weather was perfect for a easy run. Feels good to be back at it after such a long break. Its amazing how much the love of running comes back to you after you almost lose the ability to run at all. The ankle seems to be holding up nicely with the mileage. I now have to wear a compression sock to help with the blood flow in the foot but I can't complain.

Another run after a night shift. Legs feel good with little soreness in the ankle and foot.

Waited till later in the day to get my run in. I was dragging a little after coming g off my night set. Felt really good after I got a few miles into it. The weather was overcast with a light breeze. Started to sprinkle right as I got to my driveway.

Windy late run. I finished right at dark. I guess I shouldn't have put off the run till later in the day. I just about didn't get it done.

Ran out at work. A little windy but the weather was nice and cool.

Ran at work on the treadmill. I was aching to get outside and run but work was too busy. It was nice to use the treadmill to keep the pace honest.

Ran at work on the treadmill. Really tried to mix up the pace after I had warmed up a mile. Very little ankle discomfort. I think I am on the mend.
