I have run 6 marathons, 3 ultra marathon, 1 relay ultra marathon and numerous local shorter races. Short-Term Running Goals: I would like to be able to keep logging in miles consistently and plan on running two or three marathons a year. I would also love to run the Redwoods (Avenue of the Giants Marathon.) Long-Term Running Goals: Run the Boston Marathon and while I am in Boston take in a Red sox game.Maybe run some more ultra's.Run a 2:50 marathon. Ryan and I are kicking around the idea of running a marathon in every state in the next few years. You got to have some goals. Personal: I have lived in Eastern Idaho for most of my life. | I was able to run outside today and the weather was perfect. Most of the streets were dry. It has been a while since I have ran outside due to work and weather. I was able to hold my pace and the miles flew by. |

| Ran up Sunnyside road to the top by the Bonneville County landfill. It was more climbing than I remembered but I felt pretty good. Not a bad day to run. It was nice to see a few runners out. Good run to finish the week out. |

| It looked alot warmer outside than it really was. But the roads were clear and the sun was out with no wind. Not a bad day to be outside. Felt just a little soreness from my last long run. I think it was due to the downhill portion of the long run. |

| Felt really good today. My legs had loosened up and I was able to run a steady pace with out feeling too much effort. Still cold outside but it beats the negative temps we had. |

| Ran up the Bone Rd. today. The sun was out and little to no wind. Still a little cold up on top. I turned around at about 8.5 instead of making the full loop. I was glad I did towards the end of the run. It really cooled down. |

| Ran a little later outside than I normally do but I made it home before dark. Felt really good just got cold towards the end of the run. So ready for spring running. Ran what I call a negative half. Basically ran the last six miles faster than the first. Hope to get some runs in this week but it looks like it is going to be busy at work. |

| Ran on a treadmill at work that was probably older than I was. Our workout room was going through some maintenance. I know I shouldn't complain after all I am running at work. Kept the pace up and the treadmill handled it so all in all it was a good run. |

| Had to run outside due to my treadmill dying. I have a new part on the way and a technician that will install it. Thank goodness it is under warranty. I braved the storm and got my run in. Felt guilty since this weeks mileage was less then impressive. It was a long week at work. This next week should be better. |

| Got home from church and started feeling stir crazy with the sun outside. Went for a walk with the family around the block and was able to convince the wife to let me sneak off for a run. Most of the roads are dry and the wind wasn't too bad. Great run on a sunny winter day. |

| Ran around the greenbelt a few times and then I ran home. I was able to avoid most of the slush. Felt a little sore on my ankle the last couple of miles nothing serious just a little soreness in the muscles. I will have to take it easy tomorrow and see how it feels. Over all a good run in some new shoes. Rye I'm trying out the Brooks Ravenna 4s. |

| Perfect day to run outside. The sun was out off and on and the temp was in the upper 20s with little to no wind. I warmed up for the first half mile and then worked at holding my marathon pace for the run. The pace felt good and is starting to feel natural. Finished the last mile slower for a cool down. The ankle felt pretty good. I think the day of rest yesterday was a good idea. |
